How hard would it be to change a GTB on LP gas over to gas.

I agree with Tom and Andy. Sell the LP tractor and get a gasoline one if that's what you want. If you want to keep the tractor, I suspect it would be cheaper (and much easier) to get an LP nurse tank and leave the tractor as an LP burner. While it will burn a little more fuel at about the same price as gasoline, it burns so much cleaner and doesn't leave deposits in your engine. The only gasoline tractor I ever bought was my first one. The others are all factory LP tractors (MM, JD, Farmall) and I would not have it any other way.

Why do so many people think they have to convert LP tractors to gasoline when LP is the better fuel? Once you understand its advantages, you'll swear by it.

I agree with Tom, leave it and learn about LP, it's a great fuel. If you decide to change it anyway you'll have to run high octane gas with the heads that it currently has.

To convert, you would need a fuel tank, fuel line, carburator, linkage, different sheet metal, etc. By doing so, you would be getting a tractor of less value and less engine life. There are lots of factory gasoline G's still out there if you want one and they will usually sell cheaper than the propane. I like the LP tractors as they are extremely clean burning and long lived machines. The LP's take extra equipment to refill but thats the only inconvenience.
