Jeff Foxworth says that any wife that buys farm equipment for her husband for Christmas must be a redneck. Mine bought me a '58 or '59 5 Star. It is in need of a hood and fenders. Anyone know where I can get those. It started but ran wild. It has an American Bosh Injector Pump. I am not sure what is wrong with it. Possible the govenor band? Does any one know where I can get a replacement pump or where I can get this one fixed at a reasonable rate. We live in Iowa and would like to find someplace close to get the fenders, hood, and possibly the pump. Thanks in advance for any help that you can offer.

If you mow your lawn and find 3 MM's you might be a redneck.

Are the fenders on the 5 Star the same as an M5? If so, I gave a nice set of fenders.

Yes, They are the same fenders and they came in two styles. The regular clam shell type and the other ones that that are wheatland looking style that went out over the tires a little.

You have a good wife. I wish that my wife would buy me a tractor. You wouldn't be interested in buying another 5 Star, would you. If you are interested let me know.

If you need any help with it let me know I have all three fuel types for 1958 in 5-stars and know alot about them. You can use my link to email me if you want. I will tell you though that sheet metal i.e. hood and side panels are very hard to find. But I know a secret about the hood.
