I've located a MM model R in a thicket, and I'm wondering if it is worth anything as a parts tractor? It appears to all be there but the gas tank. Radiator looks good, but who knows? Any feedback will be appreciated. Tractor located in W.Tn. Thanks doorguy

I just sold my RTU good metal engine loose for $600. I know another guy who may have a running but needs paint RTU he would sell for $500 in MO. There is a guy in Ohio that has a rust covered RTU that has a cracked block (it does run) asking $600.
Price is whatever you are willing to pay.

i agree with joe unless it has rare parts on it. for the r it better to find on in good shape and running to restore. one pitfall mm parts dont command the money as say jd does and some rarly sell.

It is worth whatever you are willing to pay for it. Without seeing it I can't say or sure, but I would not give over $200~$300 for it.

Thanks. That's about what I figured, but I don't have any MM experience. doorguy

D Guy; LOCATE THE OWNER OF THE R AND OFFER TO TOW IT OFF HIS PROPERTY. OFFER HIM A 100 AND SEE WHAT
HE SAYS. YOU WILL NEED LOTS OF TIME AND MONEY TO BREATHE LIFE BACK INTO THE R. THE OTHER GUY MAY GET THE BEST PART OF THAT DEAL. GOOD LUCK.
