Bill.
Sounds like fun but I work for the US Department of State (Colin Powell) and have been out of the country for most of the past 14 years. I am presently in Quito Ecuador. I have a place in Thompson Falls Mt. that I will retire to but , lamentably, I still need to put in a few more years before then.
In addition to the MM that was on the place I have a '41 Ford 9N and a '52 Ford 8N that I use very little but are great for keeping up the driveway (about 1/4 mile) and those other chores when I am "home".
Where are you?
Ron

Sorry to butt into your conversation, but I work at many county fairs all across Montana (as an entertainer)and know that any wheeled event, be it out of the field tractor pulls, antique tractor pulls, up to a good old demolition derby are all great draws for the fair.

I would contact your county fair board president and have them contact their friends on fair boards in surrounding counties (they get together for meetings several times per year) and get some serious interest in starting a tractor pull. It will take a few years, but it is very possible that many counties will host a pull.

The county fair has the facilities, the money (in some cases) and most importantly the advertising to really get you going.

I would love to see tractor pulls get popular all across Montana. Fairs are always looking for good events.

Good luck!

Jim
