Can anyone tell me where to get a new throttle shaft and bushings for a Marvel Schebler TSX 67 carburetor off of a 1950 UTU tractor? Thanks in advance for your reply.

A good machine shop can rebush that for you and with a new shaft it will be as good as new.

Greg - I presume the shaft/bushings on yours are worn? If so my experience might be helpful:

My '47 UTU with TSX 67 carb has a worn throttle shaft and bushings. The throttle shaft leaked so bad the engine would not idle. The rebuild kit I bought included a synthetic lip seal and brass seal retainer for the throttle shaft. When installed the seal/retainer sealed the throttle shaft perfectly and took out nearly all the slop. The engine now idles perfectly.

Greg - I ordered the kit from Rick's Agri-Parts (330-264-9720). I don't have the kit part number, but if I recall it came in "White-Oliver" packaging. ...Bob M

moc.tliub-ulav.www (read this backwards) had a kit for a U that includes a new throttle shaft. I've used both the boot kit and the shaft kit with good results.
