NO No! Hydraulic fluid for tele-flo YES, it goes in that tube, which should have a cap and dipstick on it. Don't overfill. The gear case oil goes in the big plug on cover near shifter. It's big, about 1-1/2" diameter, big hex. I used a bolt head and pipe-wrench to turn it. IF you have the tin cover over that center section, maybe it's covering it?? IT's just behind the shifter in the corner of aluminum cover. The fill level is a small pipe plug near the right side brake pedals, about 1/3rd way down case. Need to remove it and when oil runs out, it's enough! You should get an owner's manual, it's all in there and more! The gear case takes 89-90 wt oil. BUT, I was told with the Torque if you have, it will shift easier, smooother with the new Universal Hydraulic/gear oil like in new tractors. I got mine at TSC. Takes about 15 gals in gear case if you drain it. Shouldn't mix oil types. This oil CAN also be used in tele-flo hydrailics, but again, don't mix with other stuff in there. There is a drain plug in tee at bottom of fill tube there and it takes quite a bit to fill also, think 2gals or so?? The plug for gear case to drain is on bottom of case, near back, may have to push draw bar aside and clean to see it. Big hex plug again. Good Luck, buy the manuals!
