Seat Bearings

Anyone got an idea where to fing seat mount bearing for MM "V". they are 1.003 O.D. with a shoulder and have abore for 3/8 bolt, theye are also 0.372 thick.

I just picked up enough for my B.F. Avery model R and a shop that specializes in bearings, they were about $3.80 each, the dimensions being the same.

Kelvin,

The bearings are made by Ingersol Rand (I believe it is Ingersol Rand, there is just IR on the box but it is the same style as Ingersol Rand) anyway, they say IR Torrington, P/N F-225. There is also Kilian Bearings on the box. The Kilian is right over the part number.

I bought these at Belt-Bearing and Chain here in tucson. If you cannot find them or my message is confusing send me an email and I will help as much as I can.

called local bearing dealer(Motion Ind),could not cross reference the number provided.Do you have another number? thanks keith Ault

Thanks Tim, I've used those Kilian F-225 before. They probably are a Torrington product now. I usually have to buy a box of 10 to get four.

For some applications, the offset of the center is on the wrong side, but I've used a regular lockwasher as a spacer with good results.

Thanks for sharing the part number info. I keep looking for other parts sources every day.
