My 445 with ampli-tork, clutch pedal went all the way down, like vertical position, and would not return. I found the yoke had over traveled the throw out bearing carrier, which sprung back after the yoke passed. What should have stopped the over travel? Floor board doesn't mount forward enough to be a positive stop although one picture in the book shows it that way. Thanks Joe

Bet that picture is for a Utility. I'm pretty sure on my 335 the pedal hits the platform. Might actually be a 335 picture in the 445 manual, too.
For that matter, on my 335 there is a coil spring that pulls the pedal back up and takes its weight off the release bearing. Is yours missing? Mine was. Or do 445s not use a spring?

You are correct. 445 does use the spring, but in my case, it was not installed, but it is now. Am thinking about adding a 1 inch + extension to floor board as a positive, mechanical stop. I sure don't want to fix it again. THX for your input. Joe

On my 445, a 1/2" bolt with a 1 1/2" long pipe spacer is bolted to the front of the platform to act as a mechanical stop. I don't know when it was put on. My father and uncle bought it new in "57". My 80 year old uncle says that it's been on there as long as he can remember.
