I am seeing some discrepancies in the head design in UTU Minnie Tractors. Some have two piece head's and others have one solid head. Is this Just simply an Age related issue, or is it a Gas or LPg variance? Or is it just differences on the manufacturers behalf? As in what they had at the time??? Or is it none of these????

MTA's have the one piece head, and I have seen some of the early U's with the same. Lucas

U models had a one piece head up until early 1947. The one piece block/head is the KEC or KEF engine.

It all boils down to the age or years that the engines were built.----deadeye
