Yes, I would agree.. People like the UDLX.. however, very expensive.. $50,000 + can be the going rate.. Even the UOPN's can bring big money..$$ Some of the R's and Z's with the cabs on them can go for $10,000. to $20,000. in the midst of a heated auction. I passed up the opportunity to buy a cab for an R 6 years ago for $500.00 because it was not complete and at the time, I did not know what I was dealing with. I did not even own an R. I also missed out on an opportunity to buy one of the Z's that was converted to a street sweeper.. At least, that is what I was told it was.. The owner wanted $1,000 for it non-running, but I could not afford it. I did not even go and look at it. If I had and it was truely a MM. I would have had find a way to buy it. Sadly, it was not until a few years ago, I realized how RARE those really are. I do not have the phone number of the guy that had it anymore.. should have just gone and looked and if it was a MM product powered machine, somehow found a way to buy it. Anyway, UDLX, UOPN, R's with cabs, Z's with cabs and any of the odd ball MM products can be collector items. Some of the later MM tractors are good collectors too as there are so few of them running around. Like ones with the mechanical FWD. Buy Brian Rukes's book regarding MM tractors.. he has a pretty good listing of serial numbers and quantity of machines made that might help you find something rare. However, expect to pay good $$ for it. Phil
