I TOOK AN OLD Z OUT OF THE SHED AFTER 10 YEARS RETIREMENT. PULLED HER WITH PLUGS OUT: ...SHE PUSHED GREEN COOLANT OUT OF #2 CYLINDER. DO I HAVE A PARTS TRACTOR? OR IS THERE A REASONABLE FIX?

You could have a real problem here.

It may just be a blown head gasket, you may have a cracked block or other serious problem.
First, I would also do a compression check on all of the cyl. before you disassemble. Next, I would pull the head.

If it is a bad gasket, you are on a positive track, but.... the gasket could have let water seep into the cyl. over the years freezing the engine.

If you had to pull your tractor to break the engine free, I would bet you may have broken a ring. Which would mean a ring job. If you scored the cyl. you will need a bore job as well.

So... after pulling the head inspect the head gasket and take a real hard look at your cyl. wall. Rotate the engine with the crank to get the piston all the way to the bottom.

Good luck, hope it is just a gasket!
