I am considering purchasing a front end loader for a UTS and was wondering if I should look around for a MM loader that was "made to fit" a MM or if I should get a more modern loader.

I will be lifting up to 1,000 pound bales.

Any general information concerning MM loaders will be appreciated!

Most of the older loaders (of U vintage) are made of round pipe, and are ususally lacking in strength. Other problems are (generally) trip (rather than hydraulic) bucket, no "power down", and "climb over" (rather than "step through") design. For any purpose other than authentic restoration, I think you would be much happier with a newer loader.
