I have a 1959 GB that is a LP burner. It has been converted to gasoline but I have most of the stuff to return to orginal. I assume there was about 5000 or so GB's made, but dont know about the lp fuel option. My tractor has large wheatlnd fenders, 26 inch rims, and the fore mentioned lp fuel option, It runs the best, and so many are used for pullers. I need rear fenders that are better than mine and a battery box, or a picture of one to fabricate.I also need a whole drawbar, mine has been welded on to much to repair. Please help, all You guys have been so helpful with my hydraulic problem and I am grateful to you for the help. thanks in advance

I have a '58 GB LP. Don't know how many were made but common guesses are around half gasoline and half propane. Century convertor rebuild kits are readily available but the carburator may be tougher. If you have the LP carb, you should be able to rebuild it.
I agree with John on the fenders. They are heavy, thick steel and should be repairable by a old body shop guy who remembers when cars were built out of heavy gauge steel.

Morgan,
Don't give upon your fenders. Almost all GB fenders are bent in the back where implements, etc hit them. Yours can be fixed and may be as good as any you are able to find at salvage yards. I believe the factory lp system on GB's was a Century brand. Parts may not be available, however your local lp dealer can convert it to and Impco (?sp) and will have parts readily available.
Good luck,
John
