A friend and I will probably trade a M-M UTS and a M-H 44. I have several other U tractors and have not been able to sell my UTS. It is nice, original, and straight with good tires and new heads. Runs nice. I was asking $1350. Was my price too high on the UTS? What about a 95% perfect original M-H 44? I may be strung up for considering such a sin here in MM world. Most likely sell or trade this 44 for an MM down the road.

I have a nice 1949 UTS that I am tring to sell. My parents retired from farming last year and I kept the Minneapolis Moline. It was always my dads favorite and I didn't want to sell it but I haven't used it in about a year so I've decided to sell it. We used it for farming right until my parents retired. My dad always kept it in excellent running condition. It has near new tires and many many new parts. We rebuilt thee engine about ten years ago and we went over everything on the tractor including the stearing, clutch, starter, generator and even a new intake and exhaust manifold and carberator. The tractor is not in show condition, it has the normal wear from farming but you could hook three 14's to it tomorrow and head to the field. If you are interested I can e-mail you pictures. I was to an auction in central MN 2 weeks ago and a 1949 UTS in good running condition, good rubber and a new paint job sold ofor $2400. The paint job was not very good however.

I personally like both tractors. I have been looking for a UTS and all I can find are worn out relics that have rotted tires or stuck engines. I am looking for a good UTS and my opinion is that $1350.00 may be a bit high (compared to farm auction prices, but if you have a good running field ready tractor, the price is fair.
Where are you located? I would be interested in your UTS if you are close enough for me to pick it up.
