I have a 1935 MM KTA and a 1955 Ford 860 and have always liked the look of the MM 335 would like to compare these two different tractors both utility type wide front, maybe I would switch to that for my general mowing garden plowing land work...
power?
weight?
pto?
3 point? draft control?
reliability?
and of course parts availability?
any other points of interest too
thank you to all for your two cents and opinions

If, by chance, you find a 335 is less than adequate, check out a 445 or Jet Star. Similar in size, but a decent jump in power!

Rob;I don't know a thing about a Ford 860 but I can tell you I've never had a better friend than the 335 thatI have owned since1963.I have used it to pull my 80 inch Woods mower in some extremely heavy brush and it just played with the load.Worked two other 35 HP tractors with the same mower in same condition and neither one could equal the same performance. Neither tractor was in poor condition. I could not ask for a more reliable machine.I have been a Case Tractor nut for over 40 years and I have five of them. However I also now have four Minne Mo's. The only Problem I have had was with the hydraulic lift.I was not able to make it stay where I wanted it and could not adjust the problem out so I replaced the whole unit w/a 2 nd hand unit two years ago.It seems that there was a problem with the early production models. If you are going to purchase a MM 335 I suggest that you satisfy your- self that the lift system works properly. If it does function well at this age you very likely have a later production and will be ok. Good luck
