Jim, The best you will be able to do these days is come up with a tire that is 13.6 x 38 unless you goto someone like Miller Tire in Ohio who MAY sell antique sized tires. I do not even know if he can make them like that.. Anyway, todays tires are the 13.6 x 38's. That is what I put on my ZAU. I paid $178.00 each for them a few years back. I just priced a set for my JetStar 3 and they are $209.00 each. The tires that I priced are Atlas brand named and they are 6 ply tires. If you are just making or restoring the tractor for parade/light duty use, you probably do not need an 8 ply tire. The more plies it has the more expensive the tire becomes. I priced my tires through Riley Park Tire in GreenField, Indiana. They seem to have the best deal on tires in Central Indiana. I do not know where you are located, but call around to some of the "truck tire type" stores or look for someone in the yellow pages that lists that they can get tractor tires. Then call them and inquire on what they have and how much. Just be sure to shop around. Also.. Ask how much they charge for mounting and disposal of the old tires. Dont forget new tubes. They run around $35.00 each. The reason you need to ask about installation cost is that I have found that some places have a cheaper tire price but it cost more to install it than someone else who is a few bucks more in tire price. By the time you are done. You could have paid a slightly higher price for the tire but still come out cheaper in the end due to the dismount and mounting fee. Phil
