Anybody go to the auction in Norwalk, Oh on Saturday with the Molines? Was wondering what everything went for? Did things go high or did they go resignable like the sale in Indianapolis?
Thanks

David,
I was there. Didn't write down all the prices. I thought the Molines were reasonable. The Oivers were kind of high in my opinion but they were all redone. We brought home the G1000 Wheatland for $2400 - amplitorque is out and the inj pump leaks pretty bad, tires cracked. Other than that we thought it was a good buy w/ 8 rear wheel weights and new amplitorque bearings and sprag clutch. The G705 in pieces brought I think $275. I know who bought it if you're looking for parts. I'm not sure on the MF 97s but I think the complete unit brought around $800 or so and the partially disassembled unit I think was in the neighborhood of $500+. There was a nice JD 730D that brought over $10k and the Oliver 1900GM brought I think $4500.

Brian,

That's great that you got the tractor you wanted. Now I wish I would have went I would have liked that complete 97 Massey. Seems Oliver's are going high right now with the results from the Oliver sale in Millersburg, OH the same day plus the sale in Norwalk. Had other things to do Saturday, but I could kick myself for not going as it was only about 40 minutes from home.

David,
Don't kick yourself too hard. You would have spent the whole day there Saturday. The auction was poorly run in my opinion. They advertised the tractors would sell at noon. It was well after 1pm before they decided to stop selling the small stuff and move way out to the field where the tractors were parked. Even the owner was not happy with how long the auction was dragging out. Many people left in frustration due to the delay. We stuck it out as we were determined to see what the MMs sold for and what the new MM parts would bring. 60 over pistons/rings and gaskets for a 504 diesel brought $725 I believe. Good deal since there was over $900 in pistons alone and they were still sealed in the AGCO boxes.
