Thanks to all of the great tractor folks here at the discussion board, I have gained about 5 years knowledge in the past week or so.

I have an ZTU Minneapolis Moline and am needing to give it a job or two as I bought it primarily to use.

I plan to mow hay with a 7 foot sickle mower and to pull a side delivery rake, and to pull a 10 foot seed drill, all easy jobs.

Now the question, what do you SUCCESSFULLY use yours for, what were they designed to handle?

I could use mine for baling hay with a small square baler, put a front end loader on it, pull a 2 bottom plow, a fertilizer wagon or 6-8 foot tandem disc.

I do not want to over do anything, as I realize it is old, nor do I want to buy another tractor if I don't need to, so I will use it for any job it is capable of.

It would be used on fertile, level, river bottom land.

Thanks for your comments and suggestions!

Jim, I've used my '39 ZTU to bale 400 bales of straw in an afternoon, pulled a 2x14" plow "really too light without fluid or weights", planning to pull my "69" combine, and pull a 8 1/2' TF cultivator. It handles all of them well.
