I just purchased a 1950 zan it has cast rear wheel centers with steel rims. They look like Farmall H wheels also the front wheels are steel. Should the front have one wheel or two?I thought that the N stood for narrow!!

Farmall H uses the same dia. axle as the MM Z. There have been several crazy combinations of parts from the 2. The most notable was the ZA (U?) I saw on rear Farmall steel. Tractor pullers down here in NC use MM hubs so they can run pressed steel on their H's.

the N stands for single front, rear rims should be pressed steel

I saw a ZAN sell at auction several years ago here in central Indiana that had Farmall H rear wheels and a ZAU tricycle front. It also had a cobbled up home-made 3pt on the back of.

Poor Minnie had been abused :(
