I just got my first MM, a UTS. The side of the head has the letters H-C on it. What does this mean? Are their any secrets to a MM?

Tppk the UTS to its first pull/show today. Won the ugliest tractor award and 5 th place in the pull. We are very impressed with the MM tractors now. Will most likely get some more.

High Compression. Post the serial numbers and lets see what you have first!

Serial number on tractor is UTS 332918H Motor number is KEF 565759 Got it to crank over today, sounds good. Trying to get the LPG system going, having to replace most of it. A pain. Had to weld a bullet hole in the LPG tank from somebody, holds good pressure now. Started rewiring the ingition circuit this afternoon. Am hoping to use it in a parade this weekend. Tim

Congratulations on your first MM(if you are like me,the first of many MM,s)But please get the tank tested by a propane supplier. At a 70% fill in 90 degree weather with the engine heat blowing back over it,the tank can build quite a bit of pressure.I dont doubt your skill as a welder but I have seen the occasional nurse tank blow the safety in the summer and it is not good, especially with a hot manifold right there. Thanks,Moline

Already had the tank tested. Also put a remote pipe for the pop off valve, got it going back down under the tractor. Tank will never be filled with more than 5 gallons at a time. Tractor is going to be used for parades and pulls only. Would rather use my IHC's for working around the farm. Just like to understand the tractors I have and this MM is so different from the other brands. Tim

Got it started finally. New coil, new starter, sand blast plugs, file points, rewire whole system. Sounds good and strong. Might even get to like MM's. lol. Makes the saying "free to good home" mean something. Tim
