Have any of you all ever seen a 1600 4 wheel drive MM? I saw one (I think) in Western Ks. with no engine in it. I'm just wondering if any of you happen to know anything about one. What engine would have been in it, ect. Appreciate any thing you might happen to know about it...Thanks.

There were two models of this 4WD MM. The earlier called the A4T 1400, and the latter being the A4T 1600. The were fairly similar.
The 1600 you saw could have had different MM motor types in it. I believe they had a 504 LP, or 585 Diesel from the factory. But there are a few out there that had an 800 cubic inch dealer conversion motor. There are some with cummins or detroit repowers too. They are a real workhorse.

Thank you. Nice to know that. I wonder just as a matter of curiousity, do you happen to know what Cummins or Detroit they could put into that particular tractor? The one I saw looked to be in perfect condition, minus the engine. Made me want to see if the guy would sell it, and if I could somehow get it up and running again. I (hate) to tell you this, but I just sold a G705 with a 504 Diesel I'm wondering now if that would have fit in it?? I got 1500 out of mine, although it needed rear tires and some other stuff, but ran great otherwise. Anyway, I sure do thank you for the info. there aren't that many M$Ms in this part of Ks. Funny thing is though, everyone that I've talked to that has one, swears by them. Out in the Western part of the state I think there was bunches of them. Once again...thanks.

I don't think the 504 out of the 705 would have fit. It has the larger bell housing. One out of a 1350 would be the same I think.
