Could any of you fellows tell me if there is a difference in size of the front wheel hubs of an RTE and an RTU? I ordered one online and I believe I received a hub off an RTU because it was too small. Thank you!

Kevin,
Without digging into the parts books I can tell you the early R's had a smaller bolt pattern front hub as did the early U's and Z's. Now digging into the parts book shows that the RTE used different hubs than the RTU but it also used the small 5" bolt pattern for tractors built before 1949 and the larger 6" bolt pattern for 1949 and newer tractors. The early RTE with 5" bolt pattern used the same hub as a U (part # UT9047). Later RTE with 6" pattern used a 10A937 hub (or 12B937 for complete hub assy). Hope this helps you identify what you have.
