I need the throttle lever for a U. Mine broke off and i dont know where to find one. I was also looking at decal sets and have found prices ranging from 17 to $32 anyone know what the differences are in the decals or is it just price? any help is greatly aprreciated Thanks

Decals: The cheap sets have only enough decals to allow you to put the minneapolis-moline name and the U designation on the tractor. Sometimes they don't even have all the correct name decals for the tractor they say they are intended for. In my experience, the more expensive sets also had the "Starting caution" decal that I think goes on the back of the gas tank, A decal for the United Oil bath air cleaner (Early U's had them, later ones didn't) and A PTO warning decal.

Most of the more expensive sets also contain some decals that you don't need for your particular year tractor. So don't think you need to use them all to get your money's worth.

R-M Distribuitors have the most complete line of MM decals I know of. Probably the most expensive, too, since they price each decal individually or by the pair. But you can buy only what you need for your particular tractor.

I also have been pleased with Maple-Hunter decals I've used several sets of them. Sorry, don't know how to put you in touch with them right now.

I may have what you need for the throttle lever. I'll look in the parts book and scan it to you if you e-mail me a letter with your location. On decals, I buy mine from R-M Disttributors, Vail,Iowa Phone (712) 677-2491. Look at this site for placement. Link This wii give you an idea of what you want before you call as he sells decals by what you want and year of tractor.
