Saw a 1963 MM with loader today, has dual rear wheels with real heavy centers. Appears to be about 40-50HP, wide front, pto, no rear lift. Didn't see any markings. Engine is shot, dead. Steering shaft has a universal joint about two feet from steering wheel that goes to the left of the console. Is this a fairly rare tractor and what might it be worth, in general terms? Thanks for any info.

There should be a serial no. tag on the right side of the transmission case.
The description of the steering shaft makes me think UB (1953-1955), but year doesn't agree.

Kelvin, Thanks for the info, I am completely ignorant of MM types. I was only able to get within about 20 feet of it due to a fence. It has small rounded fenders and a small(to me), square hood. I looked at the photo gallery here and didn't see anything that looked like this tractor. The dual wheels(28 inch?) with the large centers threw a curve also. I'm going by what the owner told me as far as the year. It had a Massey Ferguson industrial loader which also looked odd on it. All that was on the back was a PTO shaft, no lift(3PH). The seat looked like it was aft and lower than most, hanging out over the PTO almost. "Oval" shaped fuel tank behind the hood. Thanks again for the help!
