Does anyone out there happen to know the casting number for the cylinder head off of a ZA or ZB Propane? Do the gas and LP versions of the ZA or ZB use the same cylinder head. (Just in case my terminology is off, Im talking about the cast piece that the spark plugs screw into.) Any help on this would be super.

The casting #s are 10A2647 & 10A2648 for the LP heads. The EE, RE, & 206 engines all use the same heads, there are 6 that I know of, and I've got 5 of them in a display that will be at the Lennox, SD show.John

I'd say not really rare, but the pullers think it's a good piece of property, I found one in the junkyard, but didn't want to pay $150 for a display item.

Mer, email me, I'd like to talk to you more about these heads. I've got the compression ratios and uses for most of them. Thanks, John [email protected]

Musta had a brain fart, there are actually 7 heads, still need 2648 and RE226E. I have RE226A, B, C, D, and the 2647. John

I have a RE226E head. (No, I don't want to sell it.) It is flat like the RE226D head but it is dished in about 1/8". Boy that is a hard to find head. The one I have is NOS from a close MM Dealer.
