What kind of forklifts did MM produce and for what years? I remember seeing a post on here talking about U 302 forklifts and M5 forklifts... What is the scarcity of those, I would not mind having one...

I have a 5star forklift. The tractor is operated backwards, steering wheel and seat and controls face the rear.I think someone must have made a kit to convert this one as I have seen IH and Deere models set up this way too.It doesnt answer your question, but I have looked for info on this setup and I cant find anything.

Hull Imp. in Waupan, WI has a MM forklift, was at the '95 MM Expo in Forrest Junction, WI. They may be able to tell more about it.

MM offered industrial tractors, reversed as forklifts. I'm pretty sure Big MO 500's could be had that way. I've also seen a Jetstar 3, similar.
They called these 'Rough Terrain' forklifts.

Last Saturday I removed a MM engine from a White Forklift. I'm thinking it was an MY40. The Engine was either a 206 or 220-no tag, haven't checked casting numbers. It had an automatic transmission and Dual 16" front tires, similar to a regular 'on pavement' lift truck. Too bad the Mast, steering axle, etc. was already gone.

I also think they offered a smaller 'on pavement' forklift called the MY 30. It probably used some other make engine, such as a Continental. A company I worked for in the mid 90's was still using a small White forklift like this.

My name is Luke Kurata, Red Deer Canada. I have a MM Mobilift forklift Model MSA 25 as displayed on plate. This machine is in daily use in my machine shop and is deserving of great respect for both design and durability. I have no manuals and no history but use common sense in maintenance and operation. Would love to learn more about it. Contact me at [email protected]

I was just to an auction this past week and there was a MM/White M60 forklift with dual 15 inch pavement tires. Even had a factory cab with it. Had a MM engine that looked to be what was in the 4 star or 445. It went for $1800 and was all usable and in decent shape. Just too much for my meager budget. At least I got to see one!
