Just brought home an unrestored, original condition GB-LP #08903575. It runs clean and smooth. I know that M-M grouped the gasoline and LP models together but does anyone know what percentage roughly were built for LP gas? This is a very straight tractor but has the rust of 45 years. It does look like it was stored under cover for alot of the time tho. 70% paint-30% rust.
Now the M670 LP will have company in the shed.

Congrats, my brother has one and it is a horse. As far as the LP from the factory I couldn't guess, but I would guess that about 50% of the G LP's that I've seen have been a field conversion to LP. Who ever converted my brother's did a neat clean job, but some just took the torch and made it fit. For awhile LP was cheap enough to make it worth the time and expense to convert.

Howdy Roger, The Case 830 LP is ready and waiting for me to get around to painting it. I had to put two new heads on it as the old ones had several tiny cracks all around the valve seats and guide holes. The heads were pricey! $200. each not including the cost of the valve job. It runs smooth as silk now. Paint, guages, and a seat and she'll be finished. Thanks for asking!
