I was using a drill to seed some pasture and have a question. How do you turn off the grass seeder?

Bill, I have the same problem on one side of my drill. Found the shut off mech. was loose on the square shaft, tightened it but that did not cure it. Guess I'll see if the thing is backward, never considered that. Thanks, John

I have an M&M drill (16-8 R5 Series)and use it to sow wheat, rye, and hay grazer. I see by the chart on the inside that it has a low gear and a high gear. How do I change from high to low or vice versa? I do have the C250, 251,252 and 254 gears for the other adjustments.

We would just remove the small chain that drives the grass seeder.

I think I solved the problem. It looks like the bracket that the trowout yoke mounts to had been installed up side down. I turned them both around and now the grass seeder attachment shuts off when I lift the drill. The guy I got the drill from said he also took the chain off. I knew there had to be a better way.
