What's a pair of U rims worth? I've got someone that needs them and he's offering $25 for the rims or $40 for the parts tractor. The tractor has the rear rims and tires, a one-piece block, pistons, rods, cam, crank, clutch, flywheel, transmission, rear end, distributor, governor, water pump, water manifold, etc. The head doesn't come with it, it doesn't have a manifold, and it doesn't have any front wheels or any sheetmetal. What would the whole thing be worth?

Thanks,
Trever

Thanks guys!

Well, the guy is my grandpa. My whole family agrees that he try's to take advantage of me, but I shouldn't say too much. I pretty much don't have a choice if I want to sell the rims or not. I would kind of feel bad for him, but he hasn't really done me a lot of favors besides helping me restore my tractors. What do you think I should sell them for, or should I trade him them for something of his? Now would be a good opportunity? He does sell very cheap though. Sold a restored UB Special for $1200. I tried to buy it back from the people and they said that it means too much to them. I think they know that they got a good deal for it. :)

Trever,
When its family, all my advice is null. Do what you think best. You gotta do somethings for love rather than money.

Well, he seems the other way around. I hate to say stuff on here so I won't. He's actually the person that got me started selling parts. I just wanted to work on tractors.

If it was close to me, I would give you $200 for it.

Wow! I sold 1 rim, needed valve hole fixed for $50.

I think for $40 he's buying the rims, tractor thrown in free.

distribuitor and governor each are worth that.
