Who made this truck and what did MM have to do with it--what were the years it was produced,and any other info would be great. Thanks

Don't know alot about the history, other than Oliver dealers used them for deliveries and I help a fellow farm and we use one to haul grain. Yep, cab is fiberglass (or something simalar) and the motor is a chevy 327.

I haven't seen one in years, but there was an MM dealer in SE Iowa in the mid 60's that used one as a delivery truck. It had a 413ci chrysler and a rollback on it. When he first got it, one of the sales demonstrations that I saw, was to hand people a sledge hammer and let them beat on the roof with it. I watched my dad beat the crap out of that roof without leaving a mark on it.

I believe Welters Farm Supply at Verona,MO use a White Trend truck to haul their pulling tractor and to pull a trailer with another puller on it.These trucks are very rare.

I have a toy White Trend truck made by Ertl.Not an easy toy to find and they arent real cheap either.

I have several peices of literature on the MM or
Oliver trend truck. It was another one of MM or
Olivers good ideas. Kind of like a Moline U. It
was supposed to last forever. The cab was made of
fiberglass, but they called it something else. I
will have to look at the brouchure to see what it
was called. One of the brochures shows how easy it
is to remove the grain bed and install a camper in
its place. They were powered by a 318 or 360
Chrysler motor. A 5 speed was standard eq. I will
have these Trend Truck brouchures on display at
the K&O show in August,

i remember the trend truck. it was built in the mid 60's i believe by white motor trucks. it was either marketed as a mm or a white, as it was close to the time when mm became white. i have seen a white truck that looked like the trend. i believe it had a fiberglass cab

I have seen some ads for trucks with the MM logo, in the sixtes.I believe they were White trucks with the MM name.Don't know if they were even made , or sold. Could these be what you are refering to?

Sorry to be dumb here, but what IS the Trend Truck you mention. Give us a little more info here. Is this something MM used for ads? I have seen early 50's COE Chevy's painted red and gold, are they what you mean? Delivery trucks I believe. Tell us what you are asking about, or ME anyway?

The trend trucks were built by White Motor Co. who owned MM. They were pushed hard by MM for dealer delivery trucks. They were cabovers All I ever saw had 327 Chevrolet engines and the cabs were built out of fiberglass.
