I was out riding the other day and saw a MM on the side of the road that about the exact size of a Farmall Cub. I never realized that MM made a smaller tractor like this with the cultivators like the cub and wonderered if any of you Moline fans could tell me what this tractor was.

Always liked Molines....nice color

It was most likely a BG or BF. I restored a BG over the winter, fun little project. As far as performance it is kind of a pansy...but it makes for a neat little tractor.

Probably an MM/Avery V, BF or BG. Moline bought BF Avery in the early 50's and continued building their V and R (renamed BF) model tractors painted Prairie Gold. The V was the smallest and closest in size to the Cub and was only available in a wide front. The BF was available in a narrow, wide, and high crop version. The BG was an offset version of the BF and is probably closest in resemblance to a Cub due to its offset nature.
