I may have a chance to make an offer on what I believe is a MM model U. It is a narrow front, 4 cylinder, it appears the engine has two castings for the cylinders with two cylinders each. The tractor looks to be complete, but has been in the same spot for over 15 years. I have not been able to get close to it, it sits in field owned buy an absentee landowner but a friend knows the family. Are parts avaible for this thing? What would be a fair offer? Thanks for any help!

If you want parts, you have one of the most common MM tractors to get parts for, they made a lot of them for a lot of years. There are still a lot of running U tractors out there, very reliable, and good performance. You can look on the classifieds and see that good running U tractors do not fetch much over 1000 or 1500. So don't go overboard with your offer...
