local farm sale this weekend with a very nice pair
of original tractors.A jetstar 3 and a jet star 2.
Both have good original paint, wide fronts,3pt,gas
engines,no dents, just very nice old tractors.
Anyone have an idea what these things are worth?
It's an estate sale,so they will probably go
out of my price range anyhow. Thanks.

Ray,
I think I saw the sale you were talking about in Farmworld, if that was the one in the Sidney area. I am about 45 miles away, just over the IN-OH border. How did the sale go? Was that a straight Jet 3 or a super? Did they look pretty nice? We have been looking for a Jet 3 or 302S, wanted to go Saturday, but was too busy to get away. I think there used to be a pretty good MM dealer near Kettlersville (Holtkamp). We bought a loader off a guy near New Knoxville that had a a Jet 3 and a G955 about 10 years ago. My Dad would rather have a 302S,we may hold out for one. How about the 4040 JD, and the '97 Buick car, wondering how they looked and sold.
There was a guy here that had two Jet 2's until last year. He sold them, they were nice tractors. He had used them in his haymaking business, and owned them about 25 years at least. Jim

They were very nice original supers,he bought them
new.The Jet star 3 brought $3800,the 2 brought
$3000,The 4040 brought $22000,didn't stay for the
car,but everything he had looked like new.The
owner went into a rest home,never had any kids,had a lot of antique furniture,probably a 100
china plates. He had An old minnie riding lawn mower that went for $800.
