WIRING DIAGRAMS

I know it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out most the wiring on these old tractors but sometimes it would make it easier to see a diagram.
I have what i thought was all the books for my old GB but not a diagram one. was there a special document that contained the diagrams?

LARRY THE GTB RAN FROM 47 T0 51 AND I BELIEVE HAD A MAGNITO. THE GB WAS 55 TO 59 AND DID NOT
BUT I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE THE DRAWING. I HAVE ASKED THE OTHER GUYS FOR THEIR DRAWINGS. PERHAPS
I CAN DO A COMPARISON AND PUT SOMETHING TOGETHER
FOR THE MM GUYS LIKE BOB DID FOR IH. I SHOULDN'T THINK THERE ARE TO MANY VARIATIONS.

When you purchase a wiring diagram from Motec, an excellent wiring diagram is also included.

I recently bought a factory wiring manual for a model U at an auction. Hard to believe but even that didn't have a wiring diagram in it. It was all descriptive.

I have one for a UTS 12 volt that will work . It is straight out of the book and if you want a copy let me know.

I ran into similar difficulty finding wiring diagrams for my old Farmalls. Wound up tracing out the wiring and creating my own diagrams for several different configurations (6 volt cutout, 6 volt regulator, both distributor and mag ignitions, 12 volt alternator conversion, etc). I posted diagrams are for others to use (link below).

Recently I acquired a '47 UTU. This is my first time working on an MM. Discovered that with a couple minor differences (push-pull charge control/light switch instead of knob-type, and a solenoid in the starter circuit) the UTU appears to be wired identical to Farmalls of the same era.

I plan to create and post a wiring diagram for my UTU as time permits. If anyone out there has other MM wiring diagrams they are willing to share, I will gladly post them (along with due credit!!) with my diagrams. ...Bob M

You'ld think so, I was told no. They show pictures of wiring harness as a part all-together in some, what good is that? A small guy in IN calls his venture MOTEC, has diagrams for some, mostly the old letter series and sells harnessess too. Check for his link on MM home page. I understand there is a SHOP repair manual for some tractors, I've never seen one, supposed to have lots more info in them. Repair mans I find are parts books only.

Does anyone know where I can find a wiring diagram for a 1918 Deutsch Allis 48 inch cut, 18 horse power tractor? My dad needs it and it driving me crazy asking me to help him. If anyone can help me, let me know... Thanks!

G.L.P. i have the shop manual and there are no diagrams there. so i guess we are S.O.L. There's an old factory MM mechanic in Bigsprings, Ne. i'm told if they are available he would have them. i'm going that direction soon will keep you informed. Will also ck out MOTEC

Guys, There is a diagram for a ZA 6v. with 2 element regulator. I've used it for everything from an R, Zb and up to a U and it works.

Saw your comment on the forum. Could you also send me a wiring diagram for a MM "R". It is my Dad's first tractor and we just about have it done; need to redo the wiring. He just turned 80 today and would really like to get that thing done.
