Hello

I'm an Arizona guy who would like to attend this Monroe Auction. I'm not interested in the UDLX or the R Cab or any of the older MM's, although I have a 53 UBE that can pull the pants off any J.D.. I'm very much interested in the Jet Star 2 that is available.

I know that you need a crystal ball to answer this but what has this particular model brought in prior auctions in the mid west?

I'm 1700 miles away and curious as to what kind of price range it may bring.

Thank you in advance.

Glad I checked in, I live 15 miles from Monroe's and didn't know there is an auction. I don't keep a handle on the sell price but the Jets turn up once in awhile. There's more of a cluster of MM 30 mi. n.e. of here on old original homesteads.
If you Email me I can talk to local auctioneers and check prices. When is the auction?, In case I forget to check for a couple days.
A friend near here has a bunch,{ 30? plus} of MM's and farms with 6 or 8 of them, said he never has to unhook anything that way!
I've had a MM 302 Super /LP gas since it was near new. around 2200 hr I think. It was in the last build of U 302 Supers. It's excellent and straight but weathered some. It's got to go one of these days cuz I can't hardly get on it anymore and the land is rented so it dosen't get used much.If anyone is coming this way I can give you local information, Motels etc.

Don

There was a local custom hay maker that ran 3 NICE Minnies in his hay baling business. He had 2 Jet Star Two's both with row crop wide fronts, good rubber and painted, maintained excellent. I never thought much about them being a rare tractor, since he had owned them for about 20 years. Back when he bought them, they were bought cheap $900-950 apiece, when little tractors like that were real common. I think he sold them for about $2200-2300 each, they were good tractors for that price, but I was (and still am) looking for a 302 Super or Jet 3 Super, more hp than a Jet 2, or I would have jumped on them.
He kept his 670 Super, real nice gasser wide front, nicest one around in our area, only thing he used it for was bushogging (still) and running a NH square baler.

I have seen Jet star 2 go for up to $3,850 and jet star 3 go up to $5,200 and Supers Up to $7,000 depending on how nice they are. It looks nice, There is also an auction with Three Jet star 4s on it. In iowa this summer. I have a jet star 3 super payed $3,500 Ran and in pretty good shape about 8 years ago and last year i bought a jet star 2 and jet star 3 that needs work both Together was $1,200 neither ran, and missing some parts so, it is hard to say what it will bring.

matt Lansing,
when i am finished with the jet star 2 I will be selling it, complete rebuild, and restoration. Price ???? don't know yet.

There is a jetstar 2 for sale on the AGCO web page. Go to AGCO homepage,(www.agcocorp.com) then click on the North America link on the left column, then click on the Machine Locater select Minneapolis Moline and tractors as machine type.

I live in central Illinois and I have seen one in really good shape bring $3200.00. The thing with jetstarII is that they only made them one year so that does up the ante a bit.
