Looked at and have the opportunityto buy a power unit but would like some information. Its a 6 cylinder, gas, has Twin City and MM on the radiator and MM casted on the sides of the radiator. Has HC casted in each of the 3 jugs. On the engine ID tag is: 41/4X5 6 CYL, Model CEB, Ser# 150062 and on the frame ID tag is: Model CUA. Ser# 61650. Seems to be complete except the breather and the manifold is broke. Very restorable. Would like info such as, HP, cubic inches, wt., whats it worth, will I be able to find a manifold, and anything you can tell me.

Thanks for your time and info.

Dale

Your serial reads of an 1941 CE engine number, 150053-150092. CE engine are 425 cubes. The horsepower at 1200 rpms is 71 on the old 425 models, 85 on the newer ones at 1500 r's. Welters would be a start for parts. Price depends on you. I seen them from $150-1000,depends on WHAT the seller THINKS they have. Usual price is 300-600, cause you can buy whole tractors for a little bit more around here. Another thing is that exhaust will cost 150-200 for a good one. HC heads are usually only 5.2 or 5.4-1 comp ratio.
