Routing of rear worklight wiring on 1950 RTU

I have a later style RTU with the clamshell fendors. I would like to know the correct routing for the worklight mounted on the left (rear) fender.

Dick,

First, I don't think M-M ever mounted a light on the fenders of an RTU. I have a 1952 RTU with the clamshell fenders and there are no holes for mounting a light, the light was mounted on the rear of the transmission case using a bracket. The rear light wire hooks to the wiring harness via a pigtail just as it exits the fuel tank support and then goes down to where it runs rearward along the top left side of the transmission case, under a sheet metal guard. Enough wire sticks out the back to be able to reach to where the lamp is mounted. Hope this helps.
