Anyone going on any tractor rides this summer? Any advice from some "experienced" riders? Do you want a restored older tractor or a unrestored one? They sure look and sound like they are fun. Thanks for any ideas. Harold

I would take pride in having the nicest old tractor with the flashy new paint job.

Harold I have been on 6 tractor rides and they are great fun. I used a late 40's early 50's tractor that was restored. It is nice to have a tractor that will travel 12 - 15 mph easily. This is a nice speed to see the sights and enjoy the time rather than having to run hard and be tense the whole time. It is also a good idea to take candy to throw as you pass through towns to the people who watch.
