Tele-o-flow problem

I have a 1969 Jet 3 super that I had the hydraulics worked on last year. Originally the problem was the return spring on the levers were broken and when I pulled the levers out I heard clinking noises and realized that I was in over my head. I took the whole assembly off the tractor and took it to a fella that was a Oliver dealer in the 60's and he put it back together. Initially I thought it was working great but have come to realize that it doesn't work right. When I have the bushhog on it it will not stay up and will eventually sag to the ground. The 3pt will no stay up no matter what RPM I run. I used to be able to set the 3pt height and it would remain there. What do I need to do? He said that he repalced some "O" rings in the spools and filled the system up with universal hydraulic fluid after draining ATF out of the system. The rate of lift on the loader is SLOW compared to before and some hydraulic fluid is now dripping out from the tower the steering wheel is attached to. Can a larger pump be put on this or can I have it rebuilt? Thanks in advance to all you MM people. Dwight

I think you should post this question on the MM board at www.jetstar.minneapolis-moline.com.

I can tell you that there is no provision for automatically raising the 3-point if it drifts/leaks down.(like Fords have) So RPM plays no part in holding the lift up.

Also, MM intended for their Tel-o-flo lifts to run on 'type S' ATF, and about as near as we can come to that today is Dextron III.
