PTO clutch adjustmenton a G1000

Anyone know if there is an adjustment procedure for pto circuit on a G1000 or if it has an individual clutch disc or similar set up? Does one have to split the tractor to repair/replace these parts? Considering purchasing a G 1000 on which the PTO does not feel quite right. Ideas,Comments,Hell No's !!!!Need adsvice.

I have worked on a few MM PTO systems and I have never had to split one. If I remember right my G1000 Vista has the PTO clutch in the bottom and the PTO brake in the top just under the hydrualics.
I dont have my I&T manual in front of me, but I think a regular G1000 is slightly different, might have both clutch and brake in the bottom. The procedure is documented well in the I&T manual.
What kind of problem does the pto have?

Own both; G-1000D and VistaD. It has been years since I have done any adjusting on either PTO. Recollection is that they were very similar. It seems that there was an access port on the right rear, under the seat to use when adjusting the multi disc clutch. Engage with engine at idle. You got a lot of fire in front of that clutch. I also removed the brake assembly because it put vertical stress on a bushing back there and caused a lot of wear; poor "injunearin". Good luck, I really like both of them.

The tractor is a G1000 Vista, I am told the pto does not feel quite right when engaging.I have not felt it myself,it is on a tractor I am considering purchasing. I am waiting on pics. I need that size of tractor for the PTO horsepower. As a plus I really like the looks of a G1000 Vista. Tks for reply maybe we can talk more.

Lucky duck, I have about 6 acres in MA and I am trying to convince the Mrs. how much we need the horses of a G1000 Vista for the 2 bottom plow. Am going to start looking for one as soon as I finish the Case's up. Anyone got one out there?
