Stroked U

Looking foe information on stroking a U by off-set grind a G crankshaft. I want to use IH H rods to go to a smaller rod journal allowing for an increased stroke. The G rod journals are around 2.79 something and I believe the H's are 2.25. Off-set grinding could net a 1/2 in. stroke. What I am looking for in particular is pistons and where they can be found. Also, is this a good set-up for a U or what other options are out there today?
