I have a chance to buy this ZTU in nice condition.
Not familiar with Molines, is this a common or rare model ? Would it be a good one to restore ? Thanks, Ron

A z is a nice one to have in your collection, easy to work on, and really not that expensive to work on either. They are easy to haul and can be used for the odd small job. Tell us more about what you are looking at and we might be able to help you out more. More rare configurations would be ones with a single front wheel, wide front, and/or standard front ends. If it has a red grill then it is a 48 or prior which would make it in the zt series. The serial number is on the right side of the transmission on a tag. With that information we might be able to tell you how much more collectable it is, but in short I wouldn't tell anyone to pass up a Z if it is reasonable shape/$.

It's pretty common, depending on what year it is. It would be a great one to restore though. Do you have a serial number off of it? Does it have a battery box and gauges or not?
