Looking for info here from old dealers, MM (or NI)employees and other folks. I am from near Coldwater, OH and the now closed NI factory there. I am putting together a NI history book and needing information about when NI bought the concept from Minnie in the 1964-65ish era.

Can anyone on this board give me particulars on why MM decided to sell? How the brand - dealer changeover was handled, particularly, such as, how were MM dealers or NI dealers affected or treated (policies, expectations, parts in stock, etc.)

If you know of any good resources or people to contact on this, please let me know.

I have a '60s brown mule and a '68 NI 701 mule, lot of similarities that NI carried on that MM started I can see visually.
