I know exactly what you have. Old Andy Leadabrand in Greenwood, NE had one of these in his lot that was never sold until his final close-out sale a few years ago. I would date the machine to the early 1950's, it used a model D sheller cage and rotor to do the shelling and the rest of the machine was built around that. If Andy couldn't get his price for something it just sat and rotted away. This picker sheller sat outside for nearly 50 years and just rusted away having never picked an ear of corn. At the auction the machine brought scrap price. I looked at it many times over the years thinking it would be a neat collectible as I had never seen another like it but when the time came I decided I didn't need another non-working piece of junk lying around the place. It would have taken weeks of work to get it in operating condition. I regret to say I don't know the model number, I have a lot of M-M literature but nothing on this machine. Seems like the machine Andy had had a serial number of less than 100. I should have written it down. I think if you look you should be able to find the serial plate on yours, it should have the model number on it. Yes, you have a pretty rare piece! !
