JEFF THE CLUTCH ON THE MF135 IS VARY STIFF.I THINK THIS IS BECAUSE THE CLUTCH PEDAL HAS NO LINKAGE FOR LEVERAGE.YOU MAY WANT TO REMOVE THE PLATE FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE CLUTCH HOUSING AND CHECK TO SEE I NOTHING BROKEN.A VARY COMMON PROBLEM IS THE PINS BRAKE ON THE CLUTCH FINGERS.GOOD LUCK LANCE

JEFF YOU SAY THAT THE TRACTOR WAS FITTED WITH A NEW CLUTCH? SINCE YOU ARE GOING TO OPEN THE BOTTOM PLATE TO CHECK THE PINS, DO TAKE THE TIME AND COUNT THE AMOUNT OF SPRINGS. THE MF 135 MUST BE FITTED WITH 6 RED SPRINGS (886396M1) OR 12 YELLOW SPRINGS (8870909M1 THIS PART IS NLA IN SOUTH AFRICA). THE PEDAL PRESSURE IS GREATLY REDUSED IF YOU USE THE 6 RED SPRINGS, BUT THE CLAMPDOWN PRESSURE IS RETAINED. YOU CAN ALSO MAKE SURE THAT YOUR TRACTORS CLUTCH PEDAL PINS (180444M1 & 180449M1) AND THEIR BUSHES (180801M1) ARE IN A GOOD CONDITION. YOU MUST BE ABLE TO DEPRESS THE PEDAL WITH YOUR HAND WITHOUT TO MUCH EFFORT. IF THIS DOES NOT SOLVE YOUR PROBLEM, YOU WILL HAVE TO SPLIT THE TRACTOR AND STRIP THE CLUTCH DOWN. IF YOU NEED ANY MORE INFO, E-MAIL ME @ [email protected]
