While looking at snowblowers to mount on the super 90, two questions came up. What is the HP rating for the tractor? It has a 242 gasoline engine. And second, what kind of weight can I lift with the three point hitch? I looked through my repair manual without luck.

PS. I am also looking for a manifold for this tractor.

Thanks all, Winston

Winston:

I'm not exactly sure what the horsepower on the gas 90 is, but it's 72 drawbar on the Perkins diesel. Again, I'm not sure what the specs are on the hitch, but I have had mine hooked to some pretty stout stuff and it's handled it just fine. I bent a 3 point hitch drawbar trying to lift a stump out of the ground, and I bent a boom pole like a pretzel trying to snake a log out of the woods. I didn't have that problem with my old John Deere tractor. I have a factory manual, but it's at my mother's farm 40 miles from here. If you'd like, e-mail me and I'll get that information for you next time I'm up there. I usually make a trip up every week or so.

Good luck
