I have up for trade a massey 44 row crop live power 3pt hitch, recently rebuilt, nice tractor, and i have used it to farm,i wanted to trade it for a smaller tractor with live power, but i have had people calling wanting to buy it.
i know what i have into this tractor and know what another tractor would cost, and i know with all the extra parts i have the parts alone seperate would cost quite a bit to buy seperate.
would anyone know what these tractors have sold for in the past? and if i can't get what i need out of it to replace it, i will keep it. i know it will probbaly last me another 40 years, but its just to big for me and what i use it for,

so if anyone could give me a price on a past sale of a simular tractor it would be appreciated ,this will give me a idea of what to do before late spring.
thanks
Tim

I know exactly where you are comming from as many collectors want them for nothing and wants big bucks when they sell, i recently sold one with out live power and no 3pt hitch it ran good but needed a little work, but i worked it and didn't show it, it took a while for me to get what i needed. i got out of mine $3,800
and with extra engine parts it adds and the mower also would be a increase in value,
so don't take less than what you need out of it as it would be better to work it than take a loss,

Look at the MF page here, should be a link to past sale prices.
