I am trying to install a 3 point hitch on my Massey Ferguson 50 industrial tractor (This tractor is not even close in size and appearance to a MF50 Ag tractor - it's the base tractor for the tractor/loader/backhoe configuration). I went to the local supplier and bought 2 pivot pins to attach the 3 point lift arms. When I got ready to install the pivot pins into the differential housing on each side, I discovered these pins are much too small (The pins will completely pass through the existing tapered hole in the housing).

The tapered hole in the differential/axle banjo housing is much larger than the standard pivot pins that usually fits into the MF 35/135/65/165 housing.

This tractor is similar to the MF50A and MF50C, but this MF50 is the first generation and has the round axle housings. The later generations of the MF50A & C had the square axle housings and didn't use the same method to attach the lift arms to the tractor. Mine uses the tapered pin going into the banjo housings, the MF-50A & C uses pivot pins that go through some extended bosses projecting from the axle housing.

Unfortuntely, when I bought my parts manual from Jennsales, I bought the 50A rather than the 50 (at the time not knowing there was a difference). This area, the final planetary drive and the brakes seem to be the biggest difference between the 50 and 50A industrial tractors.

The fella that I usually buy MF parts from is at a loss as to what the part number is for the pivot pins.

Can anyone out there in tractor cyberland help me with a part number for these larger than usual 3 point pivot pins?
