A dealer has a 2wd model with a Sisu engine in it.It also has a 32 speed autotronic dynashift transmission.Tack is showing 6400 hours, seems to be in decent enough shape, rented it for the day spreading manure and it seems to run very well. They claim that it is puting out 160 hp.Were they good reliable machines? With the Sisu engine, were they fuel efficient like the ones in the Challengers and Valtra's?Also what is the thing worth? Was hoping it may be a source of fairly cheap hp.Thanks pd.

The Dyna-shift transmission 3000 models were definately a few notches above the earlier speed-shift 3000 models. Massey had by this time, ironed out many of the inherent problems associated with them. I know thge Sisu diesel engines are very reliable, but, as with all big H.P. engines, they will guzzle fuel, if you pull the stick open. Not sure on price though, not many located in our area here in Australia. cheers, Evan.

you can check for prices on www.agdealer.com there is a few there, I assume the one your talking about is at atl. tractors. It certainly looks decent. There seems to be quite a few of the 3000 series massey autotronics around with high hours which indicates to me they were decent.
