165 carb

I just got my MF 165 (G176 Contintal) going after rebuilding the engine. It runs smooth when half-choked but when I open the choke all the way it sputters and stalls. Carb adustment?
Also, it seems like the differential lock is engaged but the pedal is up all the way. What do I do about that?

Adjust as per the manual. If this does not help, it sounds like you have a plugged jet or a plugged fuel supply line.

I believe there is a spring that retracts the differential lock. It is located in the housing.

The manual on this site has a good pic of it.

It was also mentioned that applying the brakes individually to break the traction lock loose if stuck.

If this does not get it then it is time to pull the right axle.
